Geez I remember taking a course on American "intelligence" organizations. It was totally messed up, and that's just the stuff that is out in the open.

I would not be surprised if there were a lot of disinformation going on. But it is hard to say for sure. Let's assume there is none, then you have to consider:

Even reporters can't get their info right. I remember one time specifically when I was 12 or 13 (I might have been 15) when the Haitian leader had to step down or something...Some weird thing in the 90s, anyway. I was too young to remember exactly. Anyway, a CNN reporter asked a question about the situation (I forget what) and the individual who he was interviewing said that his premise was not the case. And not even five minutes later, the reporter claimed that his premise was true, even though the interviewed person had just disclaimed it.

That was just a banal example of false reporting, not to mention how much of that kind of thing is done deliberately.

Disinformation is not an American thing.

I hope Russia kicks ass, and I hope they kick ass hard, I'm American I should add also, I live in Colorado Springs...home of NORAD...so when the Neo-cons or the next group of dictators that come into office..it doesn't matter who..Hillary,Obama,McCain...their ALL on the same team working for the dismantling of the U.S. , being if they get word from the upper oligarchy to nuke Russia...then I can say bye-bye, because one of the primary targets that Russia would retaliate against would be not far from where I live. I hope this blows over, who knows, but I have a bad feeling this is a move to rekindle the old Cold War tension again so the next administration in the U.S. can have a new boogie man...errr...actually dust off the old boogie man out of the closet, so there will be 2 sets of war drums to beat for the mindless American sheeple who soak up all the daily pablum from mainstream American media...the Mid-East war drum will continue and the re-newed Russian Cold War drum, it won't ever end. The above was just MY OPINION but look at this link...its FACT > YouTube - PROOF:Georgia started hostilities in South Ossetia

Its not stupid. ENTPs (my prediction of Putin's type) never does something stupid. It may seems so because of outward Ne and lack of common sense.

My opinion of Bush's invasion of Iraq is far stupider.

Take your meds, man. Incidentally, there was no proof of Georgian culpability contained in that video.

Okay, let me rephrase it: They are specialists in making everyone think they are specialists, when they are really dumbasses and make everyone laugh their asses off at the folly.

    Sound more realistic?

What I find interesting in this conflict is that there is no way that we can figure out who really started it. I am saying this because there is so many contradictions in the media and both sides had a reason to raise hell.
