The acceptance of this bothers me. It is difficult to challenge but I dont think its just white or western people who think this way.

I'm actually beginning to think that the norm in geopolitics has become that others troubles are someones opportunities. Its not good.

'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Our Foreign Minister, Hon Julie Bishop MP, has warned us that there are now not one but two caliphates, or State Actors, one in Iraq and Syria, and one in Nigeria. And both are sponsoring State terror in other countries.

Nigeria has been like that for a long time, remember in the movie The Other Guys when the finance guy the cops are trying to protect has succeeded in pissing off the most dangerous men in the world its the Albanians and the Nigerians, the idea is that they are the most well armed and lawless regions of the world. Apparently.

200 years ago what Boko Haram and ISIS are doing would have been admired.

Wrong marketing tool and the wrong century dear promoters of Islam.
