    Default So called Justice "porn"

What do you think of so called Justice "porn", this is short clips in which individuals who become violent or criminals or some other similarly unsavoury element appears to get their come uppance, just desserts or natural consequences, like thugs who assail passers by in a park accidentially targetting a champion boxer and gettting their asses kicked on camera and it being circulated on the internet, or robbers coming up against angry and armed shop owners, or aggressive fare evaders getting forceably removed by other passengers on a train, there are lots of different degrees of it and I've seen it on TV in police, camera action TV shows or on the internet circulated in clips on youtube or recordings on phones, sometimes these are mainly dialogue.

What do you think about this as a phenomenon? Do you enjoy watching material like this yourself or is it something which is unpleasant to you and you would rather not focus upon as whatever way it has played out someone has suffered in the process? Is it something which can or shouldnt be encouraged or is it something which is just part of life?

Is it related to the older tendency, analysed to death by criminologists, which has fuelled the popularity of "law and order" parties, "authoritarian populist" politicians and politics or people, often uneffected directly themselves and sometimes during periods of low recorded incidence of crime, opting for harsher penalities, more punitive regimes as a consequence of feeling bad about acquiescing themselves personally in authoritarian relationships they can do nothing about?

I'm aware of it. I do not enjoy watching it the vast majority of the time. Largely because the "justice" is unfairly tilted or violent in my eyes more often than not. That and I just don't get that much satisfaction out of it as I am not an eye for an eye kind of person.

I definitely thought you were asking about some kind of Justice League spin-off porn. This makes more sense though, don't mind me. :3

Uhh.. do I watch it? Sometimes. Do I enjoy it? Yeah. Mostly in movies, where I know all the 'facts' and I'm like "Yeah, that baddie was such a bad guy and did bad things in bad ways and now he died a bad death so he can't do that stuff anymore! haha!" In real life? Yeah sometimes.. Bully Beat down is a good one because the bullies subject themselves to that mess.

I dunno if I ENJOY people being punished overall.. but I do think they should be if they wronged society or others. I more enjoy people being set free/succeeding/overcoming obstacles than I do enjoy people being subjected to violence and death. I suppose I enjoy it in the sense that I REALLY dislike it when someone gets away with doing something wrong over stupid technicalities or stupid lawyers/people or just because they have money or status or titles... So I enjoy it when people are treated equally and fairly no matter what the outcome and decision becomes.

And when you've been wronged, sometimes it's okay to look at other examples of the world where right things happened and realize that your situation isn't so unique one way or the other--that both justice can be served and sometimes be left behind.

I first read about it in the know your meme tracker page on facebook, I wasnt aware it was a thing before that, I had seen some clips and seen the TV shows but they are a little different.

I like the know your meme page but its sort of funny now, they dont have the same sorts of memes to track and sometimes they just track what is trending online or popular instead.
