These days Jeffster, Americans think on a global level. We want to remain a SuperPower by playing nice with European and Asian countries. Remember Indra Nooyi's speech at Columbia University? Through Bush's foreign and economic policies, we've continually given everyone the middle finger. That's not good since we're indebt and our federal deficit is going into the trillions.
If you were President, everyone would be a slacker smoking lots of pot.I give slightly less than a crap how the rest of the world views us. This country didn't get built in the first place by worrying about what some cheese-eating surrender monkey was thinking about us. I hate that we've become so dependent on other countries' economies and civil wars. If I were president, I'd likely not leave the country, except maybe for a recreational trip like to see Wimbledon or something. There's plenty of work to do here in our own country.
