    Yes, I cast that poorly.
The USA is actually doing an exquisite balancing job rivaled by none.

    The parties are almost balanced.
The voters vs non-voters are almost balanced.
The gay marriage issue is so far swinging back and forth.

We are the tight-rope walkers precariously perched, teetering, above the circus-tent dirt floor, doing our best not to fall and have to swing one way or the other.

It takes hard work and dedicated to be so well balanced and, thus, immobile.

So from a economical perspective, Scotland contributes to England more than England contributes to Scotland percentage wise.

That is also what the news told me. Interestingly, the US and Australia seem to have received different news.

A more thorough explanation would be appreciated. Despite levels of GDP there's not always a consistency between taxing and spending.

'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. We see a Yes vote as an attack on the Western alliance, as Britain is a key in the alliance.

Thank you Nicodemus for sharing that. I've seen him on Community, didn't know he was a talk show host - assuming that's what it is called.

It was hilarious. Wow wow wow!
