Same here. It's worth watching, if not just for idle curiosity.

I feel like the United Kingdom should take independence from Scotland. Like Russia should take independence from Crimea. And Ukraine.

The bid for Scottish independence is a wonderful expression of electronic tribalism.

The Scots have always led the way, first into literacy and the Scottish Enlightenment, and now the Scots are leading the way into the electronic media and electronic tribalism.

And we are all following the Scots. For instance, we are following the Scots into the etribalism of Typology Central. And the Islamic State is the perfect expression of etribalism especially in the social media.

So we can see the conflict between England and Scotland, and the conflict between the Islamic State and the USA, to be a conflict between the new electonic media and literacy.

Who will free us from literacy? Who will free us from State compulsion to go to school to learn to read and write? The answer lies in our very own hands in our mobile smart phones.

I really really really hope this goes through. Not saying anything beyond that, but I so very much want to see Scotland be it's own country.

Small western countries, with sovereignty, tend to do better than bigger ones. The benefits are huge: more accountability, a bigger sense of community, less cultural differences to work through, less bureaucracy.

Oh, plenty of political change occurs it's just that the electorate rarely get the result they desired from the change.
But then all too often the electorate wants a result that amounts to having it's cake and eating it too.

Looks like the UK will remain intact.
