I feel more relaxed when a Beefeater has my back.

However I would add that Western civilization is not limited by geography. And that Western civilization is shared by those who have its institutions, its values, and its history.

And one way to define Western civilization is by its limits. So we see Western civilization meets its limit in Chinese civilization, and also Western civilization meets a limit in Indian civilization.

However what is really interesting is that neither Chinese civilization nor Indian civilization are opposed to Western civilization. In fact those who are opposed to Western civilization are also opposed to Chinese civilization and Indian civilization. So we can only conclude they are opposed to civilization itself.

And just yesterday we were told by Australian Intelligence that we can expect 100 years of Islamic terrorism.

Neither you nor Beorn are actual nationalists, Mole, so your defense of Western values is hypocritial and somewhat amusing.

Why bother to defend the culture of peoples who you are not interested in preserving?

Civilization is precious and civilization is our greatest creation, so naturally I am interested in preserving civilization, particularly my own when it is under sustained attack by barbarism.

I'm deeply sorry geography is being fucked.

    This is somewhat controversial:

Australian Intelligence should stop predicting what it can't predict.

It's an interesting question. And perhaps it can be approached from the point of view of civilisations.

So it seems there are three civilisations exeunt today: the Indian civilisation, the Chinese civilisation, and the western civilisation.

This throws up some interesting corollaries: namely that Islam and Russia are part of western civilisation. But harder to place are African states: the don't form a civilisation in themselves, and indeed they substantially remain tribal.

Both Russia and Islam are part of the west because of their teleological religions.

In my part of the world western means - developed countries with white majority. (EU, USA, Canada, Australia and NZ)

The concept of Western is embodied in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

And those who reject the Universal Declaration of Human Rights are other than Western.

So who publicly and openly rejects the Universal Declaration of Human Rights? It is 57 Islamic States of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation, OIC, who reject the Universal Declaration of Human Rights in favour of Sharia Law.

And it is interesting that these 57 Islamic States are anti-semitic.
