I wrapped up the portions and throw into the freezer soon as I buy it. I thaw it in a bag or just leave it out in room temp for however many hours it takes. I also wanna take this opportunity to say I once/twice/three times ate meat that was in a freezer for 8 years. Breath had a smell of death and stomach acid for about a week each time.

No, never. Although I worked in a camp kitchen where they made me do it, which I found annoying. My Grandma lays paper towels out on the counter, washes the chicken, then puts it on the towels to dry. Then simply throws away the towels and doesn't sterilize the counter or the sink. It's a miracle none of us has ever gotten sick.

My dad tried to convince us to wash our chicken once because he's been in Foster Farms' processing plants before and apparently they are pretty gross. But, I still say the cooking surface will kill any and all surface bacteria.

you also ate 8 year old meat doesn't matter if it's frozen throw it out Storage Times for the Refrigerator and Freezer | FoodSafety.gov you're suppose to toss it after a year if it's a whole chicken and 9 months if it's pieces.

No, why would I wash it if I'm going to cook the chicken? The heat will kill the micro-organisms - not tap water.

The other day, I saw one of my roommates wash her fruit with dishwashing liquid. I asked if she knew that most fruit have porous membranes and that hot, running water was all she needed to remove germs... she knew, yet she continued to do it.
