Have you forgotten, or did you even know about, Ross Perot?
But thank you for implying another sweet angle on supporting Hillary for President. If enough Demos decide to vote Green, they will split the vote, just as the Repubs did when they voted for Perot.
Don't patronize me. I'm all too familiar with Perot.
Also, if you want to talk about splitting the vote, as Nader did in 2000, let's be clear. Al Gore is the one who took his home state for granted and spent 0 days campaigning there. If he had carried Tennessee, losing Florida would not have cost him the election. The democrats love to blame Nader for Bush's win, but they're too pussy to admit they lost that one completely by their own fault.
"There are heroes on both sides. Evil is everywhere." (Star Wars Episode III opening crawl)
I think her calculating nature, and obviously canned and focus tested public persona will be her greatest drawback. Can't imagine how well her hawkish nature will play in '16 especially if she's running against say... Rand Paul.
Your representative owes you, not his industry only, but his judgment; and he betrays, instead of serving you, if he sacrifices it to your opinion.
- Edmund Burke
Hard Choices now has a 2.1 rating and has dropped to #2 2 on Amazon's best sellers list in only its second week of release. Less than 100,000 copies sold; in other words, only libraries, universities, and Clinton's friends are buying this. Green Smoothie book kicking ass at #2 .
