Right there with you.
I'd prefer to die a free man while fighting the enemies of my country rather than cower to tyranny because I may lose my life. Nobody ever promised me a rose garden & nobody lives forever.
I'd prefer to band together with American Patriots & take the fight to the tyrants rather than allow them to pick us off one by one.
If the tyrants think the insurgents in Iraq & Afghanistan caused casulties, they've no idea the ingenuity & resourcefulness of American Patriots.
Who's a tyrant?
I've had this ice cream bar, since I was a child!
Each thought's completely warped
I'm like a walkin', talkin', ouija board.
Uncle Sam trained many of us & many retired military are members of the National Guard.
The governor serves the state, s/he has control over the National Guard & members of the guard owe their allegiance to the governor. If the governor of my home state gives the order to fire upon treasonous federal terrorists such as BLM or BATF, I won't like it but I'll follow f---ing orders without hesitation & destroy those treasonous bastards.
What if you and your friends, or people who have done nothing illegal or wrong become the "treasonous" ones?
That's kind of how oppressive governments function. They gradually criminalize everything until it is only legal to unquestioningly submit to authority and renounce ownership of your body and soul to the state. And forget about loyalty to friends or people who are unjustly accused. Your only loyalty is to the state.
Simply having the will to resist this authority for any reason under any set of circumstances could be enough to constitute treason or terrorism.
It might be a pretend right in your mind but our right to bear arms isn't an illusion (except to Progressive Liberals), some states retain the right to revolt against tyrannical government.
Were government to attack the US Constitution, politicians will have sentenced themselves to being prisoners of their tyranny, because it won't ever be safe for them to step outside.
See how many state retain the right to Revolt.
We own the government, politicians exist to serve us "We the people". "We the people" don't & never will exist to serve the god damn government. We really don't need them, they're dime a dozen puppets & thousands are more than willing to take their place.
You know it's been tried and didn't work, right?
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.” ~ John Rogers
What is strange to think is that one point the NRA stood for hunter's safety and believed in common sense gun ownership. I was raised in a hunting family, I went hunting and took the hunter's safety course...I don't fear guns but I do deathly fear the gun-toting maniacs that twist the meaning of the 2nd Amendment at this point in this country.
What does hunting have to do with the 2nd amendment?
The people that wrote and originally ratified the 2nd amendment said that it was for assuring that people could defend themselves against government.
For those of you who think it is worthwhile to own a gun or a collection of them and possibly other weaponry, what about the fact that you have to register stuff and then they know you have it and can come take it away whenever they want?
That happened in New York City. In August 16, 1991 Mayor David Dinkins confiscated all rifles and shotguns in NYC that had been registered under a 1967 state law.
Also, Governor Andrew Cuomo said this in December, 2012:
"Confiscation could be an option....mandatory sale to the state could be an option."
Senator Feinstein said this in an 1995 interview: "If I could have banned them all -- 'Mr. and Mrs. America turn in your guns' -- I would have."
Quotes taken from Ann Coulter's book "Never Trust a Liberal Over 3"
While I agree on the issue of guns, I think it is not valid to think that liberals are the enemy. I used to think conservatives were the enemy, then took a more enlightened approach of peace and all that, and now I think both parties are being pitted against each other so we don't see who the real enemy is. I don't think the real people in power are those we think are. The power structure is the enemy and it is not specific to political parties. We need to unite in solidarity and agree on common goals instead of letting ideological differences divide us. Sure parties can disagree on a lot of things and make laws which are unjust or ineffective or whatever, but we should make it about issues and common interests. A people divided is easier to control. I think if we abandoned all pretenses of democracy and became an authoritarian state it could happen under the leadership of either party. In fact, it might even be more likely to happen under Democratic leadership because people would think they had more social freedom. And I still consider myself ideologically to be liberal.
The time to resist tyranny is rapidly approaching, if & when that day arrives, those who refuse to serve tyranny will be categorized as insurgents (yea the same as guys we killed over there) & we'll be at war with the tyrannical government.
Will you then follow orders and shoot? How will you know when that time comes? Do you think that isn't beginning to happen and all the people accused of treason are justly accused?
