    Ok so I took the political compass test(again). http://politicalcompass.org

    I scored as right wing libertarian, but mostly in the center, especially when it comes to he right wing vs left wing preference.

    It's funny how in America, liberalism is a leftist ideology. Why is that? Liberalism is typically characterized by limited/no government, little/no taxes and free market economics.

    None of the above, I don't trust any of the parties. I used to trend slightly to the right, but now I trend slightly to the left. But that's mostly because the political climate has moved significantly to the right in the last 25 years - my views are the same, but now they qualify as "liberal".

    "Liberalism" means wanting change. If youre in a right wing country, those who want change will be leftists, the US is right wing compared to many European countries which is why leftiists in America are called liberals whereas left wingers in Europe are called conservatives. Ive always been puzzled by the lack of clarity in terminilogy as well.
