I'll take a wild guess and say that the folks participating in this thread know of one (Krugman) and mayyyyyybe two (Klein) of the writers mentioned above.
I have read all of them at one time or another.

    I find Krugman particularly nauseating.

I rather like AEI's advocacy of economic liberty, but as with many right leaning publications I don't much care for it's occasional promotion of meddlesome foreign interventionism.

I do not believe in political parties. If you are born a person be a person not a party.

If I had to choose among the Swedish parties, it would probably be the Left Party. Though my impression is that they favor moral/emotional arguments instead of practical/logical ones.
It makes them look naïve and blindly idealistic. It's a shame really, especially since it's easy to argue for leftist ideas from a pragmatic perspective.

Why center? Isnt being a libertarian about being right wing economically? I am anti authoritirian and right wing economically. Also bear in mind Im from Belgium, so Im not trying to define myself by US standards, which might be the root of the confusion; terms like "liberal" and "conservative" mean nothing on the political spectrum, since they are relative to social context. What is liberal in one country might be conservative in another. The way I understand politics is through the political spectrum which measures political preference on two scales: left wing vs right wing(economics) and authoritarian vs antiauthoritarian. The latter simply measures how we prefer to have ornot have authority of the government involved in our lives.

I am not an expert on politics, but you called yourself right wing and left wing (Liberal) in one sentence then called yourself libertarian. The right and left seemingly cancel each other out. I am oversimplifying of course but Right Wing Liberal Libertarian isn't a political view I am aware of.

I dont equate left wing with liberal. That seems like the source of your confusion; I meant liberal when it comes to values, while right and left wing refers to economics.
