If democrats were like Elizabeth Warren, I would call my self a democrat without any qualifiers.

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Libertarian, tea party wing of the GOP: the party of Lincoln, Coolidge, Reagan, and Martin Luther King. Every 60 years or so, the GOP puts forth a conservative candidate to run for president and the nation experiences unparalleled growth and prosperity. Then some rino or Dem takes over (Hoover, G.H.W. Bush) and the country enters a recession/depression.

The main problem with "fixing" our voting system is the 10th amendment, states rights. How each state distributes it's electoral college votes depends on the state. Some are winner take all I.e. CA, while others are proportional. Another semi related issue is in which order and when states vote. This decision is made by the party bosses, not the government. The RNC & the DNC call the shots on when "their" party has a primary/caucus.

All in all most people I've spoken to find these kinds of process issues very boring unfortunately.

I think it would take a constitutional amendment to fix matters. I am pessimistic.

Here is a proposal that as far as I know is unique to me.

States would have their primaries in alphabetical order. Alabama would go first, then Alaska, etc. Then for the next election cycle the state that came first last time would be moved to the back of the line, so it would start with Alaska, then Arizona, and end with Alabama. This process would be repeated each election cycle so that each primary season would be different and keep everybody guessing.

In France, I guess it would be something like Social Liberalism/Green politics.

I guess you could call me a liberal if you're liberal in the interpretation of the word "liberal" :P

I am democratic/socialist so neither of the main parties represent my views...they are both corporate owned and corrupt. The Teabaggers and Libertarians scare the living crap out of me.

    I am anarcho-capitalist.

I consider political action in general, and statism in particular, immoral.

    (and yes, objectively immoral)

Surely you jest? I don't want to get into a pissing contest but this is so ludicrous that I have nothing further to say....
