Bunch of do-gooders creating unnecessary stress so they feel better about themselves. I had to change the time on 5 devices (microwave, range, watch, wall clock, car clock). I can only imagine the inconvenience and stress this puts on the disabled and elderly.

I HATE Daylights savings time. It's all personal reasons, but I absolutely loathe it when the hour is lost, and the sun is out for longer. I'm odd; I don't like sunlight. The benefit is it stays darker for longer so sleeping in is easier. Well, it would be if I didn't darken my windows.

That said, if I remember correctly daylights savings time was adjusted in recent years for economic and energy reasons. Meaning, having the daylight out longer saved on energy costs over time. That's fair. Honestly IMO though, they should just either keep the hours forward an hour (ideal IMO) or leave them back. If however it proves to have more benefit to be switching in the way that it does, I guess we shall suffer it then.

I love the extra hour of sunlight in the evening, that's when I get a lot of things done outside in the summer.

Agreed, daylight savings is the devil.
I'm still not used to it, I was falling asleep today during math, well more than usual anyway.

Daylight savings also follows the course of nature, it's the opposite of artificial/manufactured.

If you look at the birds, they didn't get the memo to set their internal clock forward by an hour, but they've naturally adjusted to it. The sun is seen earlier now, so, they're up earlier, too, with the sun. During winter, the sun is seen later, they're up later, too, with the sun. Squawking for me to fill the birdfeed.
