I hate to say it, but I, too, registered @TreeBob's participation here as a form of attempted damage control. That doesn't preclude it being useful per @garbage's comment. But I can't help thinking .... especially with all those ads (assuming they're still there) .... I would imagine that damage control might be useful for revenue purposes. Then again, maybe this little discussion here at TypeC won't make a dent in the site traffic over there or will in fact up the numbers.

Personally I'd love to know who's making what money (or not) from these sites and how that revenue comes in.

Yeah but endlessly bitching about stuff and high-fiving one another has always been the standard modi operandi here.

Personality Cafe seems younger and dumber. And like it has a higher proportion of furries and people in polyamorous Internet relationships.

I only like the popular culture typing section better, because some people there actually listen to rap music or watch trashy television. Or even non-trashy television, I'm still bitter nobody answered my Girls thread here.

Boy, oh boy! Am I convinced!

I suppose one could say I have a bit of an ego.

    Haha!

As for the insider's perspective: You may as well throw your down payment on a bridge, 'cause you're a goddamn fool who is going to buy it.

I'm not doing anything to benefit the forum or increase membership. It really doesnt mAke a difference to me if our membership goes up. The forum is owned by a publicly traded company and they have proprietary advertisement software. They generate an unknown amount of revenue from it and don't share any of it with me or my staff. The perc staff, like this forums staff, do our jobs for free (at least I assume).
Don't like my modera... Oh wait, wrong forum. Carry on.

Apparantly you give a shit. For some reason you and many other banned people can't let the past go and move on with your life. I'm quite enjoying posting here so I don't know what you hope to gain by attacking me, but I'm staying around for awhile.

That's the MO for human beings in general.

To varying degrees. Some people try to do better with themselves.
