Default Muslim Clerics Issue Fatwa Against Living On Mars

Issue a fatwa against suicide bombing!

    You mean something like this?

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatwa_on_Terrorism

(it took me 0.2 seconds to find that using google that)
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

    You're so smart!!!!

But what does it mean if the clerics don't act on their fatwa?

    You're moving the goalposts.

Look, you believe Islam is a violent religion and that's why you deliberately pointed your belief (a belief not substantiated by facts) that no Muslim clerics have taken a stand against terrorism. You probably also believe that no Muslims speak out against terrorism after every terrorist attack, but that would also be untrue. Muslims speak out against terrorism all the time, but the mainstream media doesn't cover it. Why? Because that news doesn't sell. What sells is getting gullible people like you to believe that Muslims support terrorism.

That's a really long leap of logic to claim that "I didn't know there was fatwa against terrorism" equates with "all Muslims support terrorism."
