Actually, it is far from the truth.

But people do get trampled, pressed, and tossed about all the time on Black Friday. So what this figure really tells us, is that human being are more resilient to being crushed in a wave of fellow human beings than you might think.

I don't consider it sane, but at the same time the truth is statistically you run more risk of getting eaten by a shark or being struck by lightning multiple times than probably dying in a Black Friday trample, based on reported incidents.

I'd like to try camping out and actually going in at the beginning of the frenzy one year just to experience what all the fuss it about. But I can never actually muster the desire to do it when it comes down to it.

I don't really understand how people have the energy to do all that after Thanksgiving. I mean, you've just stuffed yourself full of tryptophan, gravy, and cream and have spent the whole day mingling with your family. By the end of the day, I have the energy of a dead frog.

Besides, I don't like how the start of the sales is being pushed back further and further until people are considering leaving Thanksgiving early to go to the sale. That defeats the whole good energy of Thanksgiving where you're bonding with your family and contemplating the good things in your life.

But I did go out Friday afternoon to Walmart to browse what was there and ended up actually finishing most of my Christmas shopping, which I was surprised at. I'll also be looking around online during Cyber Monday.

The truth matters little to INTP when he has a chance to bash Americans.
