That photo gives Helen Reddy's old song I Am Woman a whole new meaning.

I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an' pretend
'Cause I've heard it all before
And I've been down there on the floor
No one's ever gonna keep me down again

    Oh yes, I am wise
But it's wisdom born of pain
    Yes, I've paid the price
But look how much I gained
If I have to, I can do anything
    I am strong
    I am invincible
    I am woman
The future is for the unafraid.

Sport hunting is despicable and if you like it you suck - having killed is not something to be proud of, or enjoy doing.

Well now that's why people fear change. Change leads to greater change, and even greater change, and soon enough humans won't be allowed to own pets.

Heh. I guess ideally they wouldn't. Or rather, not view them as 'owned'. More like having a relationship with that animal. The way you maintain relationships with friends and kids. Somewhere in-between there, in fact

I know, Im scaring people now

Yes, and then what happens to your original goal of banning lion hunting?

Grin. I know. One step at a time *sigh*

Slavery, racism and sexism didn't get addressed in one night either.

Yes, as an animal rights advocate, you should not reveal the Ideal which is your end, but only work on people's emotions in the present moment. In a few generations or less, using this incremental methodology, your goal will be achieved.

Then there will be an effort to move things back the other way as the new Ideal.

Good for Melissa Bachmann, she's helping to make endangered species preservation economically viable in under-developed countries.

Sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of me cheering on my niece for bagging a boar bigger than she is.
