I fully understood what you said, I'm just not sure if you understand that racism is an actual problem in people's lives and not just a feeling of discomfort.
Fwiw, I have black friends and family members, and I know what they go through.
A former black co-worker of mine was routinely inspected by the police for no good reason. A second degree cousin of mine is worried that he'll be seem as a second-class professional because people are going to assume that he got into college just because of affirmative actions. I don't pretend my challenges are bigger than the ones they face. I'm not even white to begin with, but I'm part of a majority where I live, so I'm in an equivalent position.
Police violence may be one-sided, but hate crimes would work both ways.
