    No, I didn't. Some volunteer came to my door about it, too...noticed that me and my roommate had not voted. I didn't go though because I got pretty sick right after she left.

    Coincidence? I don't know.

    Absolutely. If anything, there's no better time to vote. The elections are focused on your community, you can vote more precisely according to your ideals, and your vote actually carries a bit of weight...at least more than in the presidential election. (As a non-Democrat who almost never votes for the Democrat presidential candidate, my ballot is essentially a waste of paper here in California.)

    I mean...I voted in the presidential election...but I haven't heard of any elections in my state any time recently.
