Lol, why would you count Britney Spears with Elvis or Jim Morrison? Seems like blasphemy Madonna is cool though. I cant say she equates Jim Morrison on any level, however.

Haha, definitely not equating. Just covering a range of decades and genders.

Lol, alright, I just feel Britney is closer to Miley than any of those people you mentioned.

I'm not really surprised as much as I jut think in this case it was done very unsuccessfully.

this. why does everyone not see this? people actually think she's being herself, that she's being authentic? wow. her ultracapitalist overlords got an idea and it worked out perfectly, the stupid youth and the conservative adulthood fell for it, her lickspittle, costumed and coffee-drinking overlords with backslicked hairstyles laughing as her publicity earns them even more $$$. she's just a trend without any real fans, the discriminating, obnoxious and always norm-following crowd will eventually lead on to another mindless, consumer-promoting, plain boring and unauthentic fad which will form their new, uninspired and temporary identity. maybe with EXTRA edge this time.

Yes, everyone says celebritities are famous for being famous, they do nothing to earn their fame. But this misses the point of a celebrity.

A celebrity is a tribal leader in the electrical world.

Our tribal leader, aka a celeb, garners our attention, modulates our feeling, and is our role model.

Of course there are many electrical tribes in the global village and each one needs a tribal leader. We need to pay attention to our tribal leader, we need to follow our tribal leader, but most of all our tribal leader plays a role and gives us a role to play too.

For instance, the role I play in the global village is Mole, and my tribal leader is Carl Jung.

And what is interesting is the politics of tribal leadership, for as I write, two bids are being made for the tribal leadership of Typology Central. One has barely got off the ground, while the other seems unstopable.
