Bipartisanship and polarization don't have to and shouldn't mean the same thing.

I'm saying the same thing JAVO's saying. Emotional reactions cause problems. I don't know if bipartisanship is best, but there can certainly be two political parties without them saying exactly the opposite of each other out of spite for the other. It's childish, damaging, and really frustrating to listen to.

Bipartisanship actually refers to Republicans and Democrats working together, like they did on National Security issues in the wake of 9/11.
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

sorry, i guess i misunderstood your response. i thought you were talking about bipartisanship as an extension of your first comments about polarization.

it appears as though we're in agreement.

Almost assuredly, anyone with a serious investment in global politics is going to use the forceful nature of war as a tool. To do otherwise is ignorant to the causes of progression.

Can you specify what you mean by an interest in global politics and progression?
