Personally, I am appalled that our country is one of the wealthiest yet still doesn't have universal health care...that is so f**ed up I can't even wrap my head around it. I do find it kind of funny that you are complaining about Obamacare when you would have to pay for basic health care in Switzerland as well.

If you want to escape such requirements of civilization (regulations/mandates) I hear Somalia is lovely this time of year.
The requirements of a civilization aren't that specific. It only requires such things as farms and cities, an infrastructure, laws and regulations designed to maintain civility and order. Perhaps you meant to specify one of the requirements of socialism/communism.

    I have not; I'm sure it's delicious!

I was simply referring to Somalia due to its lack of infrastructure, so I'm assuming they don't have universal health care or such nagging requirements of its citizens.

    "Neither have they."

Was the punchline. I guess it works better in person, lol.

But yes, I presume you to be correct.

Ah! The dreaded "S" word and "C" word melded into one...and now forever combined with Obamacare!

I sometimes feel that these words are thrown around so loosely to raise the conversation to some sort of emotional level and overlook the actual content. I really don't know why you have thrown those words in as I didn't bring them up, nor are they interchangeable, nor are they at all applicable to Obamacare which is a hybrid of public and private insurance programs (depending on income).

I personally would be for socialized medicine but Obamacare isn't that.
