That's not even close to what I wrote.

Do you cite authors in your book the same way?

@Mal+ you have started two threads to talk about the exact same issue. That is not ok.

I'm going to merge the threads, even though this might make things a bit confusing, since it's better than having two identical threads or deleting one. Please don't do this again.

No, but there is difference between you and them. Their books were the culmination of the countless hours they spent researching their topics and articulating their findings in a clear and a comprehensive fashion. Your comments in this thread were little more than ideologically motivated punditry. Don't expect others to devote serious thought to your posts when you've neglected to do that yourself.

That is projection, pure and simple. Please don't do that again.

Some time ago I read about away of opting out after 6 months (I think) without paying the penalty by using a loophole in the law. I'll have to research that.

Well, it's all kind of a moot point if you are already insured which I am.

    If I weren't however, I would pay the $95.

Haven't heard anything about circumventing the fee.

"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."
