Looks like Nestle's found another way to be utterly repulsive. Woohoo!

In absence of water, a person dies. If a person isn't allowed to say alive, all concepts of rights seem moot.

How is Brabek not allowing people to stay alive?

Absence of water kills a person. If having water is not a right, then it is acceptable for a person with the power to deny other people water to excercise that power. Thus, it acceptable to kill other people through deprivation. Whether or not the head of Nestle, or Nestle is actually doing that, I don't know (although based on some other practices I'd be not at all surprised if Nestle is actually poisoning people to death). The point is that this is the only thing that can follow from the assertion that water is not a human right.

Where did he say anything that silly?

Oh I see, you didn't bother to watch the video.

You're right, I didn't, because I'm at a place that blocks videos. My response was to the assertion in the title that water is not a human right. I don't know what Brabeck said, but everything I've said about that assertion is accurate, so if Brabeck did say it, than I'm accurate about his statement too.

It is obvious profiteers of water being a foodstuff would be comfortable adhering to the status quo.

As for my personal opinion, I am not sure. Seems utopian, and how could I deny utopia? If we've got it, flaunt it. I do not know if we have it, however.

I personally know a small business owner in the field of water purification systems - I'm not sure how he would feel about this either, nor all the other people who comfortably afford the menial cost of water in civilized communities. There are many arguments for both sides.

And that's exactly how some memes are spread: by assumption.

Regardless of what he said, this is why I don't drink bottled water.
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11
