Islamic Terrorist Attack in London Street with Meat Cleavers

This is reminescent of the butchering of Theo van Gogh in Amsterdam by an Islamist.

It does show that our Intelligence Service can't keep us safe.

And it does show that bombs are not necessary for Islamic terrorism, meat cleavers will do.

England lets Sharia Law to be implemented in their country. According to Sharia Law what the Islamist did isn't punishable or atleast could be argued as a self defense act.

So welcome to England I would say.

No it's not Sharia Law, it's not even Jihad, it's Wahhabism.

This is what the English and Americans are doing every day in Afghanistan and Iraq. And what they have done to everyone around the world, from their own Irish brothers, to the native Arabs and Africans, all the way down to the Aborigines in Australia and the ex inhabitants of Las Malvinas.

Sad to say and sad for the normal people caught in the middle, but of course it will come back to them. To be honest I am surprised it doesn't happen more often.

Yikes I heard about it on the train from the airport.

I woke up sick today anyway so I am having a low key day in Cambridge (had been toying with the idea of heading back into London for the day).

This was just another reason to stay away beside the main one, not feeling great.

I suppose it has been a good way of seeing what hands people are really dealing with. All kinds came crawling out of the woodwork after this incident, from political, racial, socio-economic and spiritual backgrounds....etc

It has been hard at times to pinpoint exactly what it is some of the people are grouping together.

Give it a month and people will barely forget what the feathers were ruffled over, or something else will happen to link the incident to a new sadness.

They forget that an individual like themselves was hacked to death, for whatever justification, by other individuals. This is the most important and saddest point and we should get to the bottom of why this was the case, all the other trappings are just surface fluff.

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.

It might be nice to think it is our fault, then we could fix it ourselves. Unfortunately it is the result of political ideology.

Naturally we are confused because Islam is at once a religion and at the same time a political ideology.

And for many decades now we have seen this ideology put into effect, and the London Street was the latest example.

How would you propose to fix it?
[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11
