I don't think zero gun regulation is a good idea. But it should be handled locally in as much as possible, and should restrict usage, and maybe set up training requirements, rather than restricting ownership.
    You lose.

I'd prefer if everyone had plenty of weapons. Then maybe we'd have to try and get a long as a species, instead of policing ourselves to death and thinking it's a humane way to get along or have a sense of order.

Besides, all the arguments boil down to philosophies. You could argue that people having more weapons causes more violence or you could say it causes less violence, as long as there is an example somewhere of either being true (they are both true, depending on the context); don't matter - all the same shit, just different wrappers of philosophical backdrops.

I guess if you believe that, there's no way you could ever make it false. But if you believe it false, even if trying produces failure, there's always the potential that you won't fail at some time/point.

Are you so weak that you would believe not trying to better yourself is then worth it?

no I just happen to know myself. you don't know me. so you're assuming something false.

if i owned a gun, knowing myself and how i react to situations, i'd either be dead or in jail. so yeah staying with it be a bad idea.

and I don't appreciate being called weak, for coming to this conclusion.

It's only a bad idea if your future is based on your past; it doesn't have to be. You make choices to be different every day, as we all do. Your past doesn't have to define your future.

I believe it's only weak if you believe trying not to better yourself is worth doing. If you don't, then I never said such a thing about you. Why did you think I came to that conclusion about you? Because I did not, or at least, I don't know what your answer to the question is to form a conclusion to begin with.

I'd use a pen to stab through eyes instead.

    What if nobody had hands?
