Default Biggest mind f*** as of late

I've always liked this band and respected them, despite not being a Christian myself.

I think my kid brother likes those guys.

It's kind of crazy, but if there was a hint of him not believing in God or cheating leaked to the general public, his career would be badly damaged if not destroyed.

But, jeesh! Hiring a hit man is not the place to economize! What did he expect for $1000?

One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

    Only $1000?

Isn't that kind of cheap for a professional?

EDIT: LOL @cafe, I just read your post!

I would say great minds think alike, but . . . well, I think we're just both twisted in similar ways.

I think Tim has lost his marbles or something. Even if he hadn't gotten caught in the hiring stage... He'd have to know that an investigation would fall back on him, considering the custody issues of his adopted children and him having a wife that served him with divorce papers.

Though he's kind of vague, he's put in public blog posts about his struggles with religion etc. But the whole cheating thing, I dunno... maybe he was so afraid/paranoid of his image being tarnished.

Ah. Maybe things are different now. I just remember how stuff like this went in the eighties and nineties. Even a divorce with no accusations of adultery was enough to do irreparable damage to a Christian music career. Doubt was acceptable up to a point as long as you were kind of vague.

I seriously thought of the movie Horrible Bosses when I read this article. "$200!?!" 'I thought it was such a good deal...'

I could see that with sandi patty or amy grant back in the day, but I just assumed Christian rockers today did whatever they wanted and people just looked the other way and kept it under wraps since anyone that would know what was really going on would probably lose money themselves over it.
Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love
So you can let go when you give it

    Probably so. God, that's depressing.
