    Default Greed...

What do you think of an economical system, our current system, that is based on and that openly promotes GREED as a positive value?

For instance, what do you think of this -> http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...s-8600650.html

Don't you think a possible consequence of this system might be that we are currently governed by the greediest and most remorseless of all (at last, those who have been successful at bypassing judges?)?

Bonjour! (There ends my knowledge of French...)

    I don't think it's just a "possible" consequence, I think it's the logical one!

I definitely think that the people with the most power are the greediest and most remorseless. It seems like the only real kind of power these days is money, and it stands to reason that a more greedy and ruthless person will have more money. They have stronger motivation and fewer moral hurdles.

I think it is more a result of our economic system, in that it as you said encourages greed. And I believe the solution is to bring about a change in the economic system.
