moderate does not equal sensible (in my opinion), especially now.

He *did* announce that Bill Clinton will have a very large role in the election. I wouldn't rule out him picking Bill as VP. That would be an interesting move.

I didn't say McCain does (he needs someone intelligent that can draw the leftists to his leftist ideologies, since they're blinded by party naming).

I meant that Obama is so senseless that he needs someone sensible.

Boy, that would be great. Hillary might die of a brain aneurysm if that happens...

No more Bill. I hate Bill. He's worse than Shrub. There are few politicians I like less than The Greased Pig. He won on the votes of women that were swooning over him, and that's the only reason. He left us with a recession due to his years of shitty policies.

Umm ... why do you think so? I mean, people have been comparing Bush Jr.'s presidency to the likes of Warren Harding and James Buchanan. I cannot imagine a worse presidential legacy than Buchanan, but Bush Jr. seems like he's in that sort of company. Clinton by most measures seems like a rather middle of the pack president. Not a really great legacy, but not all that bad either.

Comparing George W. Bush to Warren Harding is a slight to Warren Harding, who was a very decent man.

Short of McCain choosing Romney or Huckabee for his running mate, I think an Obama/Hillary ticket would be unbeatable.

That being said, I doubt Obama will pick Clinton as his running mate.
