    Neither. There will still be search engines and social networking sites but Google and Facebook will likely be replaced by something else.

    Who will survive longer? Google, but probably not as a search engine. Its simply that Google has it's hands in more pies, and is a lot more likely to survive if they lost one of those.

    And yes, their will probably be search engines that will give Google a run for it's money, Google wasn't the first search engine and won't be the last, but by then you'll be using many other Google services which barely touch on Google search.

    I think Google has more staying power, so I'll go with them.

    Facebook will need to evolve greatly in a good way in order to stay around, I think.

    For the record, I use Google all the time, but my Facebook was deleted after less than a week of existence. I simply don't care for it.
