The 3 posts showed your panic intensity though.

Like being forced to live badly, because I don't want to be bad.

The ones thriving are condemnable. The ones trying to live morally, they're struggling.

And I'm told to just sit back, keep low, and what will come will come in time.

Don't know if I can be patient. Not while not thriving, only surviving.
I agree with this, although I think its the perrenial human condition, I think that survivalism and preparedness recommend themselves.

Try to out live your worst enemies, I dont mean that purely in terms of years of your life either but completely enjoy life in a way they are unlikely ever to, they'll inevitably be jealous and envy you the happy state they can not attain, even if you hope for a change of structural, cultural or magnificent fashion it is still possible to happy in the mean time and your foes will hate it and it will work upon them, that hatred, and it will take years of their lives, particularly if it is a happiness which involves an indifference to them and their machinations.

It means that you have escaped their domination and they will find that vexatious, with luck they will develop illness and have a heart attack.

    That's Guu.

She's a liminal being. A trickster. She can shape shift and even appear as different things to different people.

She can also eat nearly anything completely whole and has an entire pocket dimension inside her where she can keep stuff she ate, including live people. It's much bigger on the inside than she is on the outside. Grown humans can wander around in there!

Edit: also she has an adult form where she kicks a giant bear's ass to save Hale and his mom.

I'm gonna have to disagree on that one.

I rather like Heinlein's idea of anyone who votes for a war being automatically drafted. That should ease some of the casualness that people have when they throw around the war idea.

That should be every single person that works in/supports a war industry that makes money off the military. Every news channel that does not speak up against war or for war (Fox News mostly.) And every lobbyist trying to start a war in unsaid countries (and non-countries) in the middle east.

After all, these industries make money off war. And if there is no war, they'd make up a war.
