    Bad timing skills. Enough said.

    You're welcome my dear. Forgive me but I just have issues with calling people out. It's overemotional and once that occurs, you've lost. You both have apparently gotten your feelings trodden on somewhere along the way and should just step away from one another.

    Right, which is why I said what I said earlier about using words like "racist" in a technical sense, when practically, people carry different and heavier associations. I agree with you.

    I don't see it in terms of good and bad, probably since I'm not an F

    It's more like:
    Obama= Santa Claus economics
    McCain= Santa Claus-is-really-daddy economics

    Neither are sufficiently fiscally conservative for my taste, but at least the 2nd one seems semi-conscious of reality.
    I don't wanna!

    If your goal is to vote for the most "fiscally conservative" of the two, then yeah, McCain is your man. I vote more on social issues, like abortion, health care, equal rights, the war, etc. I'm poor and I'll continue to be dirt poor no matter which one wins.

    Aren't you in college? I would hope that you'd be able to graduate and to better your circumstances in life ("dirt poor" does not sound like fun). The job market is tough right now, though. I graduated last year, and I applied for a lot of jobs within the university. Basically, the only job I got was the same one, but with a raise and 40 hours a week instead of 20-25. I'll be out of here by the end of the year.

    I'm not exactly in a major that will pay very well. I gave priority to doing something meaningful with my life rather than living comfortably.

    Do you believe you should still live as comfortably as others, even though you made the choice to enter a field that you knew didn't compensate enough for a comfortable life?
