Those aren't very major changes. As I said, talking to enemy nations is just a change of tactics, not strategy.

Universal health-care is not that radical an idea really. In actuality it would just be another development in the course the American government has been pursuing since the New Deal.

I hate agreeing with sarcasm...even if it's only half of it.
But sir, your opinion is wrong.

    Good for you!

The sad bit is that they're still the lesser of two evils...

I just wish people actually looked at all the options and weren't brainwashed by the bias of the media, like CNN.

Yeah, the great thing about the free market is that you don't have to understand all it's inner-workings to get the benefits. But you'd need someone with a god-like brain at the helm for a government engineered economy to work as well.

But the main reason I posted in this thread is that I want to announce that I was finally called a racist the other day for saying I wasn't going to vote for Obama. It then struck me that every one of my non-race related justifications were all a sham and deep down I'm just an ignorant bigot. So I immediately made my way to Urban Outfitters to buy a deck "Obama Fo Yo Mama" shirt and a tote bag made of recycled materials and now I feel like a whole new person. It's great!

I will probably write in Ron Paul, myself, or maybe stay home.

I'm not interested in participating in our nation's ongoing audience-participation stage play.

Now, if only 70+% of the population had the intelligence to do something like that.

Of the prominent two parties that the media loves, he and Mike Gravel were the best candidates.

If the republicans would pull their collective heads from their giant collective ass, they'd stop holding the first primaries in places where there are no real republicans. If they held the first ones where real republicans lived so the fakes would be eliminated before they got to the leftist states in the east, they probably would have Duncan Hunter or Mike Huckabee, who were about the most republican (and reasonable) candidates they had.

The democrats also had some pretty serious contenders. While Obama is a pretty offensive democrat, they could've gone for someone with a real message and values. I can't believe they were so stupid as to actually take the Hillary campaign seriously, let alone the Obama campaign.

What's interesting is that some of the major party candidates are exposing fragmentation within their own parties, which are slowly self-destructing due to a complete lack of standing for anything. Hopefully more people are waking up to this...

I dislike all candidates and shall probably just vote for the one who I dislike the least when the election rolls around.
