Our power just came back on here in WV. A transformer at a local substation blew up, apparently. We weren't supposed to get this much snow here, but Mother didn't listen to the forecasts, I guess. We're at about 8+ inches of heavy, wet snow and it just keeps coming. I'm afraid of the tree limbs hanging over my house now.

Yeah, I read that a lot of towers are down -- they're running off generators now but will fail once they run out of gas.

Me too. I like him more every time I hear him speak. Good to see many of you made it through safely. The waves on Lake Michigan were about 15 feet here, much bigger near Indiana/Illinois.

That's a bitch, it had to be Seaside Heights... I'm still bitching about that one, tbh.
I'm sitting in London pissed off that it had to happen there. It's like someone telling me the Willow Grove Mall had gone, just pissed off.

Here is a great Halloween treat left from the storm. Dare I say this story is OCM™?

In New Jersey, I used to live right by Casino Pier, in Seaside Heights, now look at it.
My place was at the other end of Grant Avenue on Bay Boulevard, basically that place right on the corner there.

I don't care if I'm British or live on the other side of the world, in London, England, as soon as I found out where that storm went, I've been overly pissed off. Thankful that people in Forked River and Tom's River are okay, but still pissed off 'to the core' about Seaside Heights and Seaside Park.
