What the fuck, I'm hearing shotguns going off right now outside.

Not sure if happy Dem... Or very angry redneck with guns...

I'm very content with the result of Obama winning. I would've hated having a Romney presidency define the republican party for the next two years. Thankfully Republicans held the house which means that there should be more gridlock which will prevent Obama from digging to much of a bigger hole than we're already in.

Huffington just pulled CO back, Obama's at 281.

EDIT: Actually, it looks like they're retallying their numbers. VA and FL numbers are recalculating too. Weird.

Since it's mostly status quo, it might appear that way. However, everyone agree that this was a very vulnerable cycle for Democrats, and Republicans have been crowing for two years about how easily they'd take control of the government tonight. If any sane people still have power in the GOP, they will realize tonight that they must have completely fucked up to be losers across the board, and they will actually start being cooperative and constructive.

Of course, if they had sane people in power, they might not have completely fucked up in the first place.

Are you expecting Chris Christie 2016? Because I would have been a MUCH bigger fan of Christie than Romney.

Gridlock is something to be glad for in our government?
