If someone taught Dennis Kucinich economics (and he cooled it on the UFO stuff), he'd be one of our better politicians. He is one of the few in Washington who cares about civil liberties.

Except when he stands for things which are against the constitution, which he does regularly.

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

That's because, regardless of party posturing about the war, from a game theory point of view it's valuable for us to have our own base in the middle east... and so we will do so, just like we kept Guantanamo Bay during the administrations of Carter and Clinton.
    Agreed.

I didn't know who kucinich was for the longest time, then i read about that, and I was like WOW, this guy has some SERIOUS BALLS!

I mean, isn't that more brave to stand up to Bush like that than to just agree with him no matter what? (Like it was politically 3+ years ago)

This guy has some serious balls! Doesn't care about the phone being tapped, secret agents comin at him... seriously, what a brave guy with huge balls.

Actually, the exact opposite is true. "Standing up" to Bush has become very played out, agreeing with him on anything takes a little more balls now. So many people have decided that he's the devil.

He accused Bush executing a "calculated and wide-ranging strategy" to deceive citizens and Congress into believing that Iraq posed an imminent threat to the United States.

He went on to say that Bush and Cheney lied to Congress and the American public about the reasons for invading Iraq in 2003 and abused their offices in order to conduct the "War on Terror" following the 9/11 attacks.

"Bush misled the American people and members of Congress to believe Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction so as to manufacture a false case for war. President George W. Bush, by such conduct, is guilty of an impeachable offense warranting removal from office," Kucinich said.

He has already introduced a similar impeachment resolution against Vice President Cheney.

If Iran were to ever provoke the idea of a nuclear war against Israel, and I mean with REAL nuclear missiles, the U.S. would be the first to over-react with a nuke...

I disagree here. We all know Israel has nukes of their own, and the U.S. would apply pressure to prevent them from striking with tactical nukes first. We would help them level Iran with conventional weaponry before they had a chance to launch anything serious at Israel, though. You're completely mistaken about American willingness to use nukes. Why would we use them against Iran if we didn't use them in Korea and/or Vietnam?
