I have disagreements with many Republicans, but there are also many (the majority) I fully believe to be searching for the betterment of the nation though, again, I tend to disagree with many of their ideas.

Dude. That convention was a total trainwreck. Between the Ron Paul delegates being denied due process, Paul Ryan lying his ass off, and Clint Eastwood talking to a chair.. I don't really see how we're the ridiculous ones.

More interesting footage of the Ron Paul flap here:

So you think it was totally cool what they did to Ron Paul? Have you watched any of the footage? They are calling for votes and then completely ignoring the results and just saying "the ayes have it" when the ayes clearly don't have it, just to push through the rules that would squelch any dissent among the delegates and in fact unseat them in favor of Romney supporters. I'm no fan of Ron Paul but I think he got totally boned at this convention.

Annotated, with fact checking. But that doesn't really matter because they're "not going to let their campaign be dictated by fact-checkers." I don't know how anybody can say that with a straight face and expect to be taken seriously.

Are you serious they made the smartest decision they could.

They realized the God Damn media were going to latch on like a fucking moray to and small piece of dissent, or hiccup.

The only war we are fighting now concludes in November. There is a time and a place to debate these kind of internal issues.

That time is not on TV in front of the entire fucking nation in the middle of a presidential campaign. They did what they had to shift the narrative from issues at the convention to how the Republican party is articulating its plan for the future.

This shit is chess... not checkers.
