The Denial of the Moon Landing

Most people in China, Asia and the Middle East don't believe the USA landed on the Moon in 1969.

This is a major disconnect between the USA and the rest of the world.

It's as though the achievements of the USA and the West are so threatening to to the world view of Asia and the Middle East, they must be denied in order to maintain their own view of reality.

Bill Nye (the "science guy") was just today talking about the non-acceptance of evolution in the West, versus the rest of the world.

Lots of people in any culture deny things sometimes solely because it threatens their current view of reality.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

I just saw that too. Did someone post it or something?

Also, it's weird that China hasn't landed someone on the moon. Why haven't they? Are they that far behind, technologically?
