This aired again this week. It is an hour long. I heard it many years ago, but don't remember everything they covered.
Radiolab generally connects a lot of different things, science, politics, etc.
Raises some good points. Some things that are covered:
- Scientists characterize race through ancestry, and the "race" that someone belongs to genetically is often not visible
- Medical data on race can also be misleading
- Race, to many people, IS a cultural thing and not genetic
- "Race" is used in some countries directly for creating ingroups and outgroups.
