Then you prioritize and pick the lesser of two evils.

You would still end up with a coalition government under electoral systems with more than two viable parties (which would require some form of multi-member districts and/or a Parliamentary system), so the end result is pretty much the same....except under the American systen you know beforehand what the coalition is going to be.

    I heard different things around.

    Why would it?

Those over 55 will have the exact same program they have now, or have been expecting to get when they retire.

    The guy in this video...

But I don't see how that kind of ignorance can last through 90 days of Ryan having the microphone and stage.

Our absurdly left-wing media will obviously try to distort the issue, but I don't see how they can for three full months.

(completely putting aside the fact that each and every one of them who attempts to do so should be hanged for treason.)

We're talking about working for one of those parties...actively investing one's energy in them, not simply choosing between them during election times.

Its certainly possible that Ryan could 'scare off seniors', but its hardly imminent at this point.

I'm still of the opinion that picking Ryan opens up new vulnerabilities for few if any apparent gains. Romney can still win, but supposing he does, I doubt I'll be looking back on his VP choice as a fateful event.

Yeah, in that case you would have concentrate your efforts on various advocasy organizations, helping them to advance their cause within whichever political coalition is more amenable to their position at the time.

Do you know what it is like to love to do something.

To have it consume you without end?

    I love politics.
