    Well firstly any story can be used to cover the rich guys.

    Secondly, I'm asking: if a relatively powerful federal body is necessary for a safe, flourishing state, and if that power is ensured by laws that clarify the rights of citizens, rather than merely appealing to a culturally instilled statement about individual responsibility, then does the narrow libertarian stance about individual responsibility really only serve to cast a shadow over the responsibility of individuals within the government?
