I don't think any one deserves to die of AIDS, regardless of lifestyle. Besides my understanding is that HIV is actually more prevelant in the heterosexual community.
    IV drug use I suppose.

You can also get it from heterosexual sex.
Masquerading as a normal person day after day is exhausting.

Yes, but that is a rarer transmission vector than IV drug use, as far as I know.

Nice. Have you considered informing him it may be a punishment from God for the original sin he inherited from his father?
For all that we have done, as a civilization, as individuals, the universe is not stable, and nor is any single thing within it. Stars consume themselves, the universe itself rushes apart, and we ourselves are composed of matter in constant flux. Colonies of cells in temporary alliance, replicating and decaying and housed within, an incandescent cloud of electrical impulses. This is reality, this is self knowledge, and the perception of it will, of course, make you dizzy.

No. He suffers enough. However, that could be a good hypothetical counterpoint. But I don't think he believes any of God's punishments (diseases and such) are innately derived. I'll have to ask him next time.

Some people came out against penicillin when it was invented based upon the belief it would lead too a more sexually promiscuous society. It may have in some areas, but it also helped in other areas. Drugs/Vaccines (treatment/prevention) are neither good nor bad; it’s how people use them.

Nope. People will always be stupid. But Ryan White wasn't. He contracted HIV from a tainted blood transfusion. One would hope that wouldn't happen anymore, but evidently it still does.
