I agree with what Tom Selleck says in this video about gun laws and how he's an ardent advocate of gun rights, the Columbine massacre had only happened 4 weeks prior to this show. Tom Selleck is listed on a lot of famous INFJ lists. I probably wouldn't agree with him on all socio-political views since he's a hard leaning Republican and I'm a very hard leaning ultra Libertarian with socio-political views that would make both the far-right and far-left disagree with me.

Notice Tom Selleck's almost continual hand movement during the video, very strong (Fe) expression.

An honest and caring government will not arm only some of the populace. The hands-off approach that leaves both gun ownership uninfringed and gun distribution essentially unfettered places guns in the hands of enthusiasts and criminals and leaves everyone else unarmed. The country divides into the threatened and the threatening. An honest and caring government would positively issue guns to those who didn't want them at the start. An honest and caring government would insist that all citizens acquire training and pass basic competency tests. It would make it if anything a standardized aspect of a high school education. Only a socialist would make weird new gun crime punishments and force the police to guard unarmed citizens when the answer is right there in constitution: THEY"RE ALLOWED TO OWN GUNS!

C'mon, guns are designed for one purpose and one purpose only - to take life.

And the first duty of any civilized government is to protect life by banning guns. Anything less is a dereliction of duty.

Of course they're for taking life. You're not suggesting life is sacred or something are you? There's too many guns around for that to be true.

Agreed, let's start a War on Guns. Maybe it'll be as successful and the War on Drugs.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

It's too late, mate. We have won our war on guns in Oz in 1996. And since then we have had not one gun massacre.

I think a lot of the arguments you use for not banning guns are stupid. I will own one because it is my right to do so, being in the military means I feel safer having one near me, and because I have just enough PTSD to believe there are psychos who can hurt me out there that are three times my size that a gun will even out the playing field.. or at least make me feel like I can.

Gosh, next time an American opens up on you in a movie theatre or mall with an assault weapon firing sixty rounds a minute, you can draw your gun and have a gun fight in the middle of a large crowd of frightened and terrified Americans and their children.

But should you visit Oz, you will find we have not had a gun massacre since we banned guns in 1996.

Take the weakest thing in you
And then beat the bastards with it
And always hold on when you get love
