:c proof that cracked.com's theory that batman can't exist because hes too dangerous for society is true.

Waits for the inevitable series of discussions on whether or not Batman is bad for society because he influences and encourages vigilantism.

OH WONT SOMEONE PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

But yeah that's tragic, im actually annoyed and upset, I love the idea of midnight showings and this will probably stick in my mind now, maybe it wont stop me, but it will make me think of those who got killed. Perhaps not a bad thing though.

Oh yeah dont forget the also inevitable discussion on gun laws.....
'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

Suppose a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?"
"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.
    Piglet was comforted by this.

Considering how big this country is, it's an extremely low percentage of people that wack out and do this kind of crazy stuff. Basically there are just nutjobs scanning the environment and getting lost in their delusions.

But it's still just unbelievable. I don't even know how to comment on the people and families involved.

To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

I think the idea of Batman encourages a sense of justice, which makes me want to see the movie more.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Joker was an inspiration for this.. crazy attracts crazy. This is terrible.

I was thinking that, too. Life imitating art, so to speak.
I'm surprised something like this didn't happen sooner, to be honest.

I knew it was coming sooner or later.
