because i dont assume that all violent crimes occur because someone is sick in the head?

No, I'd say a lot of them are caused by greed, this doesn't seem to apply. Then, it'd be mental issues.

Greed, instability, political agendas...these are but catalysts.
    Human violence is an inevitability.

    There is no escaping this.
It is encoded in our DNA.

Exactly. This kind of attention seems to be too much of a incentive for some people to engage in mindless murdering. One day the guy is an anonymous person, and on the next day everyone is talking about him. Sounds like a pretty dumb motivation to waste a life, but some people think differently.

True.. we're animals, all it takes is the right conditions to bring our violent side out. Unfortunately, so many people are in the right conditions.

I suppose I can imagine the possibility of a world where only a very few get to the point where they feel like they need to kill.

It's kind of interesting how many people have the balls to be real villains. But few have the balls to be heroes. I mean, not like those guys who dress up in costumes and stop bar fights. I mean, someone as bold in their heroics as this guy is as extreme in his brutality. It should be an arm's race, but no one's showing up except the mass murderers.

I hate when this type of shit happens.
