Default The 5 Most Bad Ass Presidents of All-Time

    Fun/funny read. Enjoy.

    The 5 Most Badass Presidents of All-Time | Cracked.com

    Preview:
When the 1828 election rolled around, a lot of people were terrified when they heard Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson was running. If you're wondering how a guy we're calling a bad ass got such a lame nickname, it's because he used to carry a hickory cane around and beat people senseless with it, and if you're wondering why he did that, it's because he was a fucking lunatic.

Ulysses S. Grant should be up there, not John Quincy Adams.
    No offense.

From the little I've read, Grant might have been a drunk but he was also mostly a pussycat... which is why his term sucked so bad. (One of the most corrupt ever. Because everyone took advantage of him.)

Yeah, but that doesn't mean he wasn't a badass. Compared to Adams.

    Eh, it's ridiculous anyway.
    No offense.

So you're saying he was a badass pussycat?

Actually, that's really got a ring to it, doesn't it?

Sounds like a Missy Elliott song.

John Quincy Adams was also ambidextrous, and could write in Ancient Greek in one hand and Latin in the other at the same time. That is intellectually badass.

Actually, it just makes me want to smash his fingers with a hammer.

Who else was on the list besides Jackson and Kennedy? My work porn filter is telling me the other three must have been VERY naughty badasses (!).

John Quincy Adams, George Washington, and Teddy Roosevelt.

    George Washington???

I heard Franklin Pierce used to drag race (in horse and buggy) down the streets while president. (Paul Harvey taught me that!)

They neglected to mention Andrew Jackson's inauguration party that nearly wrecked the White House. People showed up with beer and liquor by the barrelful, fights broke out, and the uninvited broke windows to get in. Sounds like a good time. I'm not a big fan of the man, though.
