    I mean, it's pretty well documented that King is a drug addict/alcoholic and he's been in police custody numerous times since "the incident".

    People die by accidental drowning pretty frequently, particularly when there's alcohol and other substances involved.

    I've been drunk before and went swimming, but I've always had people around me in order to make sure nothing happened.

    I heard about this on the news this morning... I think he was the first black man who had his beating filmed on tape, but not the first black man to recieve a beating at the hands of the police or; something. It's kind of sad though.

    Nah, there's plenty of older videos of blacks being beaten.
