it's not your fault, just that other feminists on this forum are under the (ehem...sexist) impression that discussing feminism with a male is a taboo (they then complain about how men don't understand their troubles as a woman when they aren't even willing to talk about it with them). sort of an ignorance breeds more ignorance problem if you ask me

But, you're a gay male. You should be excluded from this taboo.

You still like me, though, right? And I was willing to discuss, wasn't I?

among more conventional circles, I usually would be, but we're talking about hardcore feminists, who frequently react the same way to a guy as if he just walked into the women's restroom.
Edit: the feminist in the top half of this post fall under the "backlash" feminists category described below

I thought you were rather rude at first, but yes, you were willing to debate honestly. I did appreciate that. overall, I don't have a negative opinion of you
Edit: then again, you are a rational feminist as opposed to a (more common) "backlash" feminist who misuse feminism as a means to vent their frustrations, establish new social norms for women, and/or try to puff up their ego (and expect to be worshipped for having a vagina, especially by those without one lol).

Oh I see. Well, I'm not going to put in my two cents about feminists because I've gotten in enough trouble on this site for my big mouth. I'm seriously digging a grave with my tongue, and need to quit while I'm ahead.

I can be rude at times, especially over the internet, where it's hard to read inflections (on both sides, honestly!) and when it's a topic I'm passionate about. No hard feelings here either! In fact, you've shown more willingness to learn than most do, and I legitimately appreciate that.
