    Germany is a country where pork is a huge part of the national diet and also one where you'd hardily get any chicken, beef or lamb; Fish 'like trout' is also expensive in Germany...
    They strike me as a people 'the ones I've met' who are fun loving and lacking teeth when it comes to being patriotic, no doubt as a result of WWII, which is a shame really;
    Thank God I'm from London.

    ... I don't even know if I like trout.

    Nice cars though.

    Well... The Queen's Coronation made televison history here in the UK, broke all records in the ratings at the time; I see no reason to doubt it would have been broadcast in the commonwealth and sold as 'the thing to watch' which was part of how the royal family operate, but, they do good, charitys and such; I'm thinking.... We have a royalist fanatic from Australia here. , hey @Victor

    That a former penal colony would think of themselves as kin to their jailers has to be the largest case of Stockholm Syndrome in history.

    That must be one major trance they are all in.

    Well back then, this wasn't exactly paradise... It was hang the orphan child who stole a loaf of bread or exile (or hang) the trouble makers who met up and planned to confront their boss for better working conditions; This was all of course, before trade unions; the very first people to do so were caught after being thrown out of their boss's office, arrested, put on trial and sentanced to Australia or death; They chose Australia.
